The Sheeran Looper X is your ultimate looper workstation for songwriting and live performance. Looper X features Ed Sheeran’s powerful multi-track looper workflows, stadium-grade die-cast aluminum pedals, intuitive 7” touchscreen with real-time metering and waveform rendering, full RGB LED indicator system and a complete toolkit of loop creation and remix functions.

Designed by Ed and his production team, Looper X utilizes custom DSP powered by HeadRush®, featuring a suite of premium built-in multi-FX, class-leading audio quality and comprehensive connectivity options to help take your looping to the next level. Designed to perform flawlessly night after night, tour after tour, Sheeran Looper X offers musicians from singers, guitarists and keyboard players to violinists, drummers, and beatboxers a new world of creative looping possibilities.

Stadium Grade Hardware

Sheeran Looper X features 8 of the same signature foot pedals found on Ed’s stadium stage looper. These precision-engineered pedal units are forged from automotive-grade aluminum alloy and mounted to a stealthy, matte black tour-grade steel chassis. The optimally pitched 15° pedal surface provides direct access to looper transport and track controls, performance modes and remix functions for instinctive operation and fluid performance. The stunning contoured side panel profiles feature a titanium grey satin finish, echoing the sophistication and elegance of Ed’s very own Sheeran by Lowden™ Acoustic Guitar range. 

Everything’s Under Control

Sheeran Looper X raises the bar with an ultra-responsive 7” multi-touch display and 360° navigation wheel making it intuitive, fast and easy to explore. Looper X has been specifically designed to deliver advanced looping features through an uncluttered and manageable UI, utilizing a familiar smartphone-style main menu to access performance pages and system settings. A virtual keyboard appears to name tracks and sessions plus the multi-touch audio mixer and FX editor utilize familiar drag and swipe gestures to change parameters in seconds. Looper X also features all-important tactile input and output volume control to dial in your mix quickly and easily.

Looping Without Limits:

Looper X can record up to four stereo looper tracks in a single session with no maximum loop lengths. You can save over seven hours of audio to internal HD storage or expand to a virtually unlimited amount of storage by connecting external USB or SD drives. Looper X offers powerful algorithmic features such as tap tempo with intelligent time-stretch, automatic tempo detection of your naturally played loops. You can also import loops (.wav or .mp3) to a track and automatically match the current loop tempo. Looper X also features control via external MIDI devices, as well as customizable pedal menu functionality allowing you to completely personalize and adapt your own perfect workflow.

Looper X offers intuitive looping out-the-box with five versatile looper modes to spark creativity and hone your performance.

Multi Mode: 4 tracks with a global loop length for building tracks, just like Ed’s stadium

Sync Mode: 4 tracks with the same or different lengths that automatically stay in sync to create dynamic arrangements on-the-fly.

Song Mode: 4 tracks with same or different lengths that function as independent song sections (ex. verse, chorus, etc.)

Band Mode: 3 tracks with same or different lengths that function as independent song sections (ex. verse, chorus, etc.) and 1 global track that can be used for all song sections (ex. percussion)

Free Mode: 4 unsynchronized tracks with no rules, perfect for getting creative with ambient soundscapes

Sheeran Looper X features a full array of individual and multi-FX processor chains to enhance your sound and level-up your loops! Choose from one of the 9 different multi-FX racks featuring over 150 unique presets custom-designed for vocals, guitars, keys, percussion and more. Alternately, you can customize your own single effects by choosing between 26 different stomp-box effect options. Warm things up with classic guitar overdrive, chorus and amp presets or tighten up drums and keyboards with compression and EQ. Make your vocals shimmer with reverb and delay, add modern auto-tune and auto-harmony to your vocals or take your loops to a new dimension with lo-fi and rhythmic effects like the slicer and pumper. The Sheeran Looper X’s powerful on-board FX engine from HeadRush® enables you to enhance and reimagine your loops like no other loop pedal.

Looper X provides extensive connectivity options for any performance situation. The rear I/O combines best-in-class audio quality with unprecedented flexibility to easily adapt to your performance setup, live or in the studio. Featuring 4 combo XLR+1/4” inputs with switchable phantom power for dynamic/condenser microphones and instruments, 2 XLR and 2 1/4” main outputs, fully configurable via the internal touchscreen audio routing matrix. 1/4” TRS expression pedal input for externally controlling functions and FX patches, 1/4” headphones output and 1/8” aux input. 5-pin MIDI input and output for MIDI sync integration and external feature control, USB-A and SD storage inputs plus class-compliant USB-audio interface mode for streaming audio directly to your Mac or PC.
