Before the North American leg of the Mathematics tour kicked off, Ed surprised fans with pop-up gigs in New York and Dallas. He performed the classics as well as songs from the ‘Subtract’ album on top of a Volvo in Soho, New York. He then delighted fans in Dallas with ice cream treats and a soulful performance atop of the ice cream truck.

The tour officially kicked off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where his first stadium show captivated over 60,000 fans. And just when you thought it was over, the weekend ended with a bang as Ed took to a double-decker tour bus for another pop-up show in LA!

But Ed's journey didn't stop at the kitchen. He went on to perform in front of more than 77,000 people at the Lincoln Financial Field - the most heavily attended concert at The Linc (ever)!

From a modest gathering of 130 at the intimate Mercury Lounge in 2012 to playing in front of a record-breaking 89,000 fans at the MetLife stadium, he had travelled an extraordinary path which added an extra layer of resonance to every note he played.

Ed surprised everyone by getting inked with a new tattoo, and unexpectedly crashed a food festival, infusing even more flavor into his time in Toronto!
